Robert Reich asked, “How are you?” and I responded.
Pretending and going along as a way of existence.
I must say that I never heard of Reich before I signed up to his journal. I tried to sign up to the diverse substack authors by exploring the substack’s “Discover” section under the keywords “corruption,” “legal,” “law,” etc. Some were entirely indigestible and toxic, and I immediately unsubscribed due to the extent of the fraud and deception, repulsed by the armies of supporters, relentlessly praising the frauds and carrying on the conversations I could only understand on an intellectual level but would entirely reject on all other levels.
The Reich’s substack was a little better compared to others and I kept checking it periodically – not to learn anything from it but to keep observing the human behavior of virtue signaling, pandering, pretending, being entirely misguided and confused about what’s going on.
The Reich’s “question” to which I responded was:
“Sincere question: How are you doing these days?
I ask because almost everyone I talk with is feeling overwhelmed. Putin’s war in Ukraine and his threats to use nuclear weapons, Trump and his henchmen’s (and henchwomen’s) ongoing threats to democracy, the upcoming midterm elections…”
Knowing that neither Reich nor his readers could care less how I am doing, I still decided to “respond” and wrote this message, also with understanding that it would necessarily fall on deaf ears:
“I am doing just fine as I am not overwhelmed by any "threats" to any bogus, non-existent "democracy" - one can't lose what one never had. I have been trying to make the worthless lying nits - the federal "courts" - to stop criminal dealings, lies, and violations of the statutory laws and the "precedents."
Absolutely all purported "activists" have been ignoring me - there is that implied agreement among the hypocritical public to unsee and pretend that it does not understand that the crimes are being committed under the guise of the "law." Democracy, huh?
I am also not a bit "overwhelmed" by the "war" (Putin's or Biden's and all the oligarchs?) because that is something completely out of my control. I thought that it is under my control to timely submit brilliant, well-prepared "legal" filings and make the lying nits to at least partially follow "their" "laws" and not lie - but even that proved to be impossible.
I am also not "overwhelmed" by "the upcoming midterm elections" as I've never voted in my entire life as when I was 10, I realized that it's just a show, a lie - to convince an unwitting public that it has a "choice" or "chooses" / "elects" those corrupt dummies.
There are also other bogus "pandemics," "climate crises," and other distractions to control and dumb down the public. No, I am not overwhelmed in the least by all those lies, propaganda, etc.
You know how trolls and bots post the same message everywhere, over and over again? I suppose it’s because some people click on the links automatically, without thinking or out of curiosity – even when the message clearly looks like spam.
Out of thousands, tens of thousands, or possibly millions of viewers not even one clicked on my link.
(Again – that does not surprise me, but thinking about the bot/spam analogy – where clearly spammy links get clicks - it’s kinda funny how much they hated my message and demonstratively ignored it).
While drafting this post, I looked at Reich’s message again, and saw the remainder of it - another “gem” that I did not even notice before:
“It’s impossible to block all this out because we’re inevitably affected by it every day –from the prices we’re paying for gas and food, to neighbors and family members who repeat bonkers things […] to weather that’s out of whack and sometimes menacing, to getting that new booster shot and making sure your loved ones do, too.”
The multimillionaires complain about “food and gas prices?” And what about the poor ones whose all funds were stolen by the “democracy?” No, still not “overwhelmed.”
And the remainder – the very last portion of the quote about “getting that new booster shot and making sure your loved ones do, too.”… I really want to know – are they that dumb or just malicious, fraudulent, and cowardly? (by “they” I refer to the author and his supporters that echoed his ideas).
P.S.: I want to emphasize that, in my opinion, there are journals and ideas that are even more harmful and malicious but disguised as “alternative.”
